Great news sports fans, Brent was able to watch the Masters at our B&B last night.\u00a0 (A side note from Brent\u2026I guess I shouldn\u2019t complain but I watched on a non HD 13 inch TV.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t tell where any approach shots landed or follow any putts.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get me wrong, I was happy to be able to watch, but we all should be thankful for the advances in TV technology over the last 5 years.)<\/p>\n
Moving on, tonight is our last night in Amsterdam, and tomorrow we head to Paris. Yesterday, we took a day trip to Keukenhof to see the tulip fields and gardens. It was beautiful to see so many flowers blooming\u2026tulips, orchids and hyacinths. Brent just didn\u2019t want to leave.<\/p>\n
Today we rented bikes and covered a lot of ground exploring the parks and neighborhoods. Even having been here several days, it\u2019s hard to believe all the bikes. Bikers have their own lane, their own cross walk, and their own traffic signals. After biking, we went to the Anne Frank house.<\/p>\n
One last side note. A lot of the cafes have signs that say \u201cEten + Drinken.\u201d\u00a0 When you\u2019re traveling with one other person 24\/7, you run out of new material. As a result, we\u2019ve been coming up with ridiculous things to keep ourselves entertained. We\u2019ll often create expressions and quote them about 100 times a day. For the last 2 days, we\u2019ve been walking around Amsterdam saying, \u201ceten-an-da-drinken\u201d in our thickest Dutch accent.\u00a0 There is no way you can find this as entertaining as we have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
